Pictures of more at the Hope Center!

I stopped by the Hope Center today for a quick visit and to drop of pictures of photos I had taken the day before of the people there. When I arrived the residents of the Hope Center were receiving a health education lesson by one of our community educators. She was teaching about clean water and how to make it. It was very interesting to watch how she used pictures and made the session very interactive, even with the use of two interpretors. She was teaching in English, then a Krio interpretor translated to those who spoke Krio and then a Fullah interpretor translated for those who spoke Fullah or it could have been Mende. I'm not sure. Regardless, it was cool to witness some of the behind the scenes of the ship activities that take place. Education sessions occur in many different places. Becca, the educator, says that sometimes she is set up in a church or school or in other places. The educators do teaching on HIV prevention, clean water, nutrition, malaria prevention, and many other things.

So here are some pics.
